10 Indian apps you should have on your phone

8,16,64,128,256……!!?Am not counting numbers, neither talking about squares,cubes or series guys, relax!

Am just wondering if my mobile storage could be a tad bit more just to download another mobile application that has caught my attention. But then there pops a message saying “Storage space running out. Some system functions may not work”. All I can do is maybe empty my gallery(Selfie queen by choice) or uninstall an application :(.  Don’t you guys share the same feeling?!

We are living in an age where we can definitely quote “Life is what happens when your cell phone is charging”. Rather let me say “Life is what happens when you are looking at your SmartPhone”.

People are enough engrossed in their cellphones with abundant applications in hand. The horizon of mobile applications is never ending with the open source platforms made available. From social media platforms to ecommerce applications, be it booking a hotel, flight or an entire holiday, everything is at your disposal.

With the “Make In India” campaign taking a high soar,  a thought came across my mind of how many of these apps are really made in India and how many are getting their due recognition.

Now get all the train information in one light- weight application. One can check the PNR status and predictions, train running status, seat availability and what not! Tickets can directly be booked on IRCTC via this app. It is one of the highest rated railway apps. It has a google play-store rating of 4.5 with over 10 million downloads as of Dec’2017.

It’s been awarded the best “Made in India” trains app in 2016 by Google.
